  1. The List Starts at 0:45 for Those That Don't Want to Know Our Criteria 🙂 Also, What Are Some of YOUR Cheap Destinations Around The World That Are Great to Visit that Give You The Biggest Bang for Your Buck? Thanks again for all of your support & Happy Travels to all of You Fellow Travelers!

  2. Plovdiv and Sofia are one of the cheapest, the oldest cities in Europe (toghether with Athens and Rome) with a rich cultural inheritage, old architechtures, old and nice churches, Roman ruins, mineral water springs…e.c. Nice people, very good food. So, visit Bulgaria 🙂

  3. Athens, Prague, Budapest and Dubrovnik are NOT cheap. For Greece I would suggest the little crazy island of Ikaria. Instead of Dubrovnik one can explore Montenegro, a smaller and far more economical Serb version. Instead Prague and Budapest there is Kiev and Lviv or Bratislava.

  4. Surprised how is Prague and Budapest inexpensive ? Maybe compared to Zurich or Paris but Prague and Budapest were one of the really expensive cities I have travelled. And don't forget you also pay a comparatively heavy charge if you need to buy water especially in a restaurant or Cafe. Not to mention even a 2 hour tour starts from 40 euro etc .

  5. I've traveled to Prague several times. Back in 2000 it was manageable, but now it's so incredibly crowded all year long except during winter. Spring months are overrun with school groups from other Euro nations. Lots of scams and shady characters in the tourist areas. Cabs scam tourists.

I recommend Brasov, Romania. We rented a car and drove from the Bucharest airport. We didn't have time to visit Bucharest. Brasov is near the Carpathian Mountains and within a manageable drive to Bran (Dracula's) Castle and other cool sites. Great food too! My biggest regret is only spending 3 days there. Needed more time.

I agree with Krakow. It's my favorite Eastern European city. Beautiful sites, great food, affordable, and friendly people.

  6. In my opinion sinagogues from Prague, except from one, maybe two, the rest are not worth visiting and are not worth spending money on it. Been twice there and visited them all in two times and I can tell you they are not that great..

  7. Ukrainian Lviv is the best city for budget travelling in the Eastern Europe. That city is not popular as Krakow but has a lot of benefits. Such as delicious cuisine, different museums, old architecrture and very, very, pleasant prices for everything.

  8. Mark, I love your selections as I've been to 8 of the 9 or 10 cities except the 2 in Lavia & Estonia you've mentioned. If I may, I would also add Istanbul, Turkey, Sofia, Bulgaria & Skopje, North Macedonia to the list. I really like Istanbul as it's the only place on earth that resides between the 2 continents, Asia & Europe & you can take a 20-minute ferry for only about 1 Euro to go from 1 side to the other. I've never seen a place w/ so many people in my life, especially Taksim Square so it's like a zoo but I love, love it. Anyway, you're a cool guy & funny as heck. Keep your channel going & keep up the good work.
